ORDER TO EXPEL BARBARIANS

The day has come for the Japanese people to rejoice again, their hearts finally free from the terrible weight of the collective dishonor! For too much time the foreigners have ruled over the sacred land of Nippon, harvesting the messes that the gods seeded for us, and have inhabited the houses of our ancestors. Now the time has come for them to leave!

The Tenno Heika, in His infinite wisdom, has ordered His men at arms to end the Joseon unlawful domination over Kyushu, and to finally reunite the Land of The Rising Sun under the Nisshoki. While every punishment would be not only well earned, but surely too light, the Tenno Heika has decided upon giving the Joseon usurpers the choice between relinquishing what they stole and going away with their lives, and standing and foolishly fighting for what is a wrong cause. The Japanese people is not enemy with the Joseon subjects, but with their insensate governants. The Tenno Heika has dear every life of them, as it was one of His people. In the hope that their hearts and minds will take the right choice, a plentiful ultimatum has been issued, to give them the possibility to ponder their situation.

But if they will show themselves to be insensitive and foolish enough to try to stop the Gods' will, they will be crushed by the might of the Dai-Nippon Teikoku, as nothing will stop us from accomplishing our Fate!

VICTORY IN KYUSHU

Great ceremonies and feasts have lit up the Kyoto night for the last three days, as the news of the victory of our glorious armies has reached the capital with an horse messenger.

Lord Morishige communicates us the details of the battle:
"As we approached the city of Fukuoka, we knew we were facing a sterminate army: thousands and thousands of citizens, forced by their Korean overlords to pick up weapons and unwillingly fight against their liberators. My offers of honorable surrender fell unhearded: the enemy rulers were determined to sacrifice as many innocents as they could, in a cruel and insensate revenge for their punishment. Before my eyes, I saw hundreds of heroes, that rather than fighting against their brothers had thrown their weapons away, being trampled by the horses of the cruel Joseon horsemen.

"With the death in my heart, I signaled the attack order: our horsemen charged forward, the ground tremling under them, a thousand voices speaking together. It was a stunning show: the Joseon horsemen, that some minutes before were cutting down defenceless men, weren't so gallant now! A mighty melee of horses and men took place between the lines: many brave men fell, but in the end the small number of Joseon survivors were forced to retreat.

"I again offered an honorable way for the enemy to surrender, hoping this way to save the lives of their unwilling soldiers. Again, the Joseon governor refused the offer, and instead assembled his Korean soldiers behind the lines of the militia, forcing them to advance and charge our lines, as a cruel death sentence. Tears were flowing from my eyes, as I gave the order to my artillery to pond their lines, killing thousands before they even came into contact with our lines.

"After this insensate massacre, our forces stormed the battlefield, giving assistance and comfort to the militia, the innocent victims of the bloodthirst of a madmen, and entered the city of Fukuoka. I have to inform you that despite all my dispositions, our forces weren't able to secure the Joseon governor: when our horsemen reached his location, he had already been lynched by the furious populace, mothers and wives looking for revenge against the men that put their sons and husbands to death.

"Let it be know to the Japan that we have today achieved a great victory, and that the Dai-Nippon Teikoku standards fly on the land of our ancestors! Tenno Heika Banzai! Nihon Banzai!"

Messengers with peace offers have been sent to Hanseong, to close this war and reestabilish relations between our nations.
