Private - The Future of the Americas
The leaders of the Huron Indians and Mittelamerika are hereby invited to a meeting with the Upper Council of the American Free States in the city of Philadelphia, for a discussion of the future of our great continent and its division and preservation. Let those representatives who shall speak for their nations set off with all haste for the States, that we may hold this meeting swiftly and soon.
Re: Private - The Future of the Americas
A distant civilian ship is seen on the coast of Philladelphia, carrying the flag of the Mittelamerikan navy and the Chancellor flag. This three mast ship moors in the harbour, and a rowboat carries the delegation ashore.
As Chancellor Rudolf Fugger, his interpretor and ten of his personal body guard reach land, a carriage is already waiting for them.
It being the first time in North America, Rudolf is fascinated by the architecture and plantlife seen in the distance, and the relatively cold weather. He should have brought another coat with him, but now that is too late. A guard opens the carriage door for the Chancellor and his interpretor, and enters the cart. It is a luxurious cart, with golden trims, the framing being made from luxurious trees native to Mittelamerika, painted in black. The seats inside are soft and dyed purple.
The carriage sets off for the Congress, following the stone tiled road.
Once the carriage reached the House of Congress, they wait for a guard to approach them, so they can show proper identification papers and their invitation, so they may proceed.

The Huron make their arrival in a carriage, pushed and pulled by men. The leader steps out and makes way to the meeting area.

Both parties are escorted into Independence Hall, where they find President-for-Life Alexander Hamilton and the rest of the Upper Council waiting, alongside a number of hastily-gathered German and Huron interpreters.
"Greetings, and welcome to America," Hamilton says, and the interpreters translate. "No doubt you know why you have been asked here. It is surely in all of our interests that the American continent be divided peacefully and without conflict, so that we might be able to present a unified front against incursion by European powers. We in the Free States would like to propose this as a rough map of boundaries." He lays out a map.
"The Huron shall have dominion over the riches of the North, the Germans those of the Caribbean, and we in the Free States shall hold sway over the lands west of the Mississippi. This is fair, no?
"Finally, we would like to invite both of your nations to join us in the protection of America by promising your military in aid should a nation from outside of our continent attempt to intrude into any of these lands. If we present a unified front, then we may see a new golden age."

The Huron leader looks at the map,
"We find these territories and agreements acceptable, so long as we're able to keep our currently held territory, you may have all the land west of the Mississippi. We'll also join you in your protection of the Americas.... It would help us an extreme amount, if you could possibly share some of your European technologies with us as well.."

The Chancellor looks at the map, and smirks. This is exactly the territories he wanted in North America that the Americans had drawn out for Mittelamerika. He looks up and says with his strong Mittelamerikan dialect of German.
"As a representant of H.I.M. Kaiser Ferdinand III von Hohenzollern, protector of Mittelamerika and defender of the faith in the Americas, I find these territories in Central and North Americas and the Carribean acceptable. However, we would like to inquire about the protection, extending to South America which would be exclusive to German colonisation but also with Huron and American protection."

"Provided that you also donate your soldiers and your ships to protecting our territories, we see no reason not to provide ours to you."

"Well understandably, we will provide protection for the countries of the Americas if this deal is going through. Just like the nations of the Americas is protecting the Reichs interests."

Re: Private - The Future of the Americas
After a long journey across the Rocky Mountains and Great Plains, a Cascadian envoy finally reaches the city limits of Philadelphia. A crowd of curious citizens slowly increases in size, following the group of odd-looking foreigners. The Cascadians, either riding saddleless on mustangs or in the back of carriages filled with supplies, keep a keen eye out for the American Capitol.
Sitting in the back of one of the carriages is Grand Chieftain Kusinut, sitting with a few trusted officials as they get closer to the meeting.
"When we arrive, we must not address the white men in our native tongue. They will not understand. They will know the Mittelamerikan language; they are also at this meeting." His entourage nods.
The envoy stops in front of the Capitol. A Cascadian soldier, wearing an olive green-stained leather uniform, gets off his mustang and opens the door to Kusinut's carriage. The Grand Chieftain and his entourage step out and walk inside.

Kusinut responds in decent Mittelamerikan, "Greetings, friend! I am Grand Chieftain Kusinut, leader of the Salish League of the Cascades. With whom do I have the pleasure of meeting?"
An American translator, briefly stunned that a native is speaking Mittelamerikan, translates Kusinut's greeting into Huron.

Re: Private - The Future of the Americas
"I am Alexander Hamilton," the President-for-Life has swiftly translated, "and these are envoys from the Huron Indians and the nation of Mittelamerika. We have invited you here to discuss the fair partitioning of the North American continent, as well as its defense from outsiders."
Re: Private - The Future of the Americas
The meeting progresses, and the Cascadian delegates are brought up to speed on the topic of evenly splitting North America. Kusinut receives the rough draft of the map, then draws Cascadian claims on it, then presents it to the room.
"We believe this shows the ideal borders for America, with us included," Kusinut explains, "America will retain nearly all of their claim save for the Cascade Mountain range, and the Huron will have all lands to the east of the Rockies.
"As for the combined defense of America from foreign entanglement, we have full support. Our warriors have modernized greatly within the past century; now equipped with standardized gunpowder weaponry, we believe we will be able to do our part in defending the continent."

Re: Private - The Future of the Americas
Rudolf looks at the map and comments camly;
"We support Cascadias claim in the Americas, but want to make clear that we have a claim on the Bahamas, which is not marked on this map. We also ofcourse has a claim on all of South America as mentioned before."
He lights an cigar continues;
"If no one has anything more to bring to the table and agrees with what has been said, I assume we can start writing a treaty?"

(This is before the king was overthrown)
"Yes, we find that area acceptable. And we shall leave South America and the Bahamas to you, Mittelamerika. I believe that we can begin on that treaty."

"And yes, I believe we are ready to prepare the treaty."

An assistant hands over a document to Rudolf Fugger. He looks through it and nods, then looks up and says:
"We have here a draft treaty, what do my esteemed delegates have to say about this?"
