- Over a thousand years ago, there were two empires on either sides of the strait. They fought constantly. They invaded each other constantly. This went on for so long that the people living in the strait started ferry services. Neither side prohibited this, and both gained from it. The ferry service became so big, the city of Largo was formed around trade and ferries. The civilians eventually started going across on the ferries, and, although the armies continued to fight, the civvies traded, and culture, under war, flourished. Because of this third cultural entity springing up from the mix of the two empires, they both went in to crush it in one fell swoop. However, they encountered each other in their genocides, and went straight back to fighting each other. The armies whittled each other so far, that the commanders quit and walked off, leaving both militaries in chaos. Civvies stepped up with their weapons, and forced the soldiers to stand down. With this giant act of the people spreading through news like wildfire, revolts rose in both cities for the war. In the end, rather than lose their power, the two leaders agreed to merge the nations into one empire, and the power would be determined by a duel by sword. Both emperors were confident in their sword capabilities, so neither was afraid they'd lose their power. Finally, the battle came, and they fought. The kerb obviously losing, the western emperor, begged for mercy in return for abdication and support of the other's rule, but the other paid no attention, and skewered him through the heart. This day became the day of unification, and only the ruling family and history scholars know of what actually happened on that fateful day, not by government oppression, but by the people's choice to ignore it and rejoice. The huge cultural mixing afterwards led to a holiday a week long being declared, and it returns every year as "Fhair", the seven-day holiday around the half-year, which brings visitors from all across the globe. There is no need to say the educated do not celebrate it.

The Glorious Emperor sees no issue with this. We think your proposed plan of the first step being exchanging embassies is our best bet.

We would like to know why you choose to repeal act. We did this attack to show the cost of lives that this war has, and to make Raxira call off their offensive and save those souls. All deaths, heathen or not, pain our Gods. We will let aid ships pass unscathed, and will only use CDMs for attacking non-civilian targets, like you asked.dogon11 wrote:
