Event -- A Dinner in Kaeprus

Isours, having finished his phone conversation, goes towards the Kahlawian representative:

"Greetings, friend. Has the other delegation been captured by pirates, that you sent your fleet to escort this one?"

The walks past and says as he walks next to them.

"No it is your everyday escort for us officials in the WPRP. We can afford such things."

Isours laughs shortly, before sending another snarky reply to the Kahlawian representative:

"I'm glad you can use your money this way, communism truly makes everyone equal!"

He snaps his fingers and an assistant brings up a wooden casket, while other two haul what seems like a big wooden barrel, from which emanates a distinctly striking smell of cheese.

The President greets the representative, while the attendant takes both containers to the kitchen and opens them.

A small destroyer sails out to the edge of Kaeprusian national waters and scans the fleet outside for submarines; as they do so, the men onboard wave across the water to the armada.

"Ah, my Segerlinen friend and his jokes! Actually, the fleet was in this general area for routine patrols and exercises. We felt that by escorting the Council, their morale would have been boosted, and by what i've seen, think we managed it!"

As quite a few people have arrived already, the President goes to take a seat at the head of the table, and the first course is served. Huge salad bowls are brought out topped with every vegetable and dressing imaginable, and the various alcohols people have brought, as well as regular Kaeprusian varieties, are placed on the table. Bread and cheese are also put down, as the smell of the second course begins to emanate from the kitchen.

After eating enough to satisfy his hunger, Urobuchi begins drinking, and drinking....

"Don't forget our dish! It is a traditional recipe that origins in the great -230.5 famine."

The delegate opens the lid of a jar and a horrible stench is filling the entire room. It is rotten fish, a moldy fungi type sauce on top of it and kelp acting as a rice kinda thing.

He looks at everyone as if he wants to see everyone eat it.

After consuming a dozen alcoholic beverages, Urobuchi collapses in his seat, face smashing into the table. Whether it was the alcohol or the Segerlinen dish is up to debate.

"Ah, I see that Segerlinen food represents the whole WPRP!"

"Isn't it great?" The Segerlinen representative smiles almost a creepy smile as he eats loads of the food.

"Indeed, it has gone through some quite original transformative processes. Tell me, is this a theme in Segerline?

You let a whole WPRP fllet in, yet not one of our UNARMED missile cruiser. Certainly shows your "neutrality" towards us. It will be reflected in our opinion as well.

"Please, do be civil, friends. We will see about including your dish in the next course," he says to the Segerlinen representative. The chefs take it back to the kitchen and lock the awful stuff in a supply closet, each independently planning on tossing the stuff and blaming their assistants.

"The WPRP fleet, as you say, never entered our waters and is being recalled as we speak. You may return in a non-military vessel should you so choose."

"Oh yes, we have a very proud tradition of food. Our cuisine is based on mainly fungi, algae and fish which exists in abundance in the region. Maybe you want to get some recipees?"

He then looks very offended as the Kaeprians takes away his dish.

You could hear the music! They must have been 1 mile off the coast or so! That, is in sovereign waters, if you ask me!

Ah, I just wanted to say that I love the fact that everything that the WPRP brings to the table is assorted.

Calm down my friend, I'm sure your unarmed missile cruiser was truly... unarmed but the WPRP fleet was asked to leave. They certainly weren't allowed in, as wouldn't most military vessels in this situation. Plus, it would be a sign of courtesy to not force our host to check your entire ship, even if it was, as you swear, unarmed.

"You most certainly could not hear the music from the shore; they were outside our territorial waters, which extend quite a ways past a single mile. You may return in a civilian vessel, or we will provide you one, but you will not bring a missile cruiser into our nation."

The president gives a confused stare at the Porteran, who appears to be speaking to no one.

We have a boat. Dont worry.

In the kitchen, the cask and barrel are opened and then quickly closed once more, and brought out to the table. The chefs look at one with a barely-masked thousand-yard stare of horror.

The Kahlawian delgate's eyes start glittering like stars as he sees his casket and barrel, and as he simply ignores the babbling hollow shell of a kerb that is now the chef.

"Ah, my presents! I was really looking forward to this!
"Now, let me introduce you those Kahlawian delicatessen." He opens the casket, held by what appears like a madman muttering '...I followed orders, please forgive me, I followed orders, please...' and extract one of the two bottles, containg a black liquid with purple reflexes.
"First of all, we have the classic Kahlawian wine, that actually is not a wine, but a liquor, made out of leaves and berries handpicked on our sunny and beautiful hills. Nothing better than this in an hot day like that!" He hands over the bottle to the butler, that starts filling glasses with a shaky hand and tears flowing from his eyes.

"Then, we have something I can claim to be really proud of. his barrel contains the product of my own farm, lovingly seeded an year ago, and then let grow in his cellar to achieve its peculiar texture and taste. Friends, I present you the Panyar Fasd!"

As he removes the lid, a solid wave of decaying flesh and stale cheese aggresses the kerbs at the table. One of the chefs, sensing again that smell, crouches in an angle and starts desperately sighing asking for mercy. Inside, what happens to be a soft texture cheese is seen. Nothing strange, if not for the fact that it is moving.
Thousands of larvae make their to the cheese surface, sensing the light, and start to climb outside the barrel.

"Mmmm, this parfume, reminds me of my childhood... Now, I might imagine your concerns about this food, but I assure you, is completely safe! The living larvae ensures that there is nothing that poisonous in it... at least for them! So, who wants the first serving?"

The CICS president goes in on a small motorboat.

The Kyuxian representative brings in a small wooden box. As she opens it she can see the others panic.

However out of it there is just a drink, the one we told about earlier.

"Got ya!" She says as she's laughing.

Some of the senators appear interested in the Khalawian gifts. Another rushes to the bathroom to vomit however, being a vegetarian. The Emperor and the remaining senators kindly refuse a serving. The guardskerbs stay stood to attention by the sides of the senators.
