Ammarism was the founding tenet of Nandosata and Tantosata, but split off into Nan-Ammarism and Tan-Ammarism. Ammarism is a Polythiestic religion, hardly practiced today but follows the worship of 3 sets of gods. Those of Water & Thunder, Fire & Kerbinquakes and that of Air & Hurricanes. In each set, there is one god who rules over the others, another who upholds the good of that set, and another who upholds the evil to create a balance. For example, in Water would be The god of Tides, Balance. The God of Thunder, Evil. The God of Life, Good. The god Ammar rules over all 3 sets. The only difference between Nan-Ammarism and Tan-Ammarism is that the gods are named slightly differently except Ammar. But neither wants to admit that, would they?

- Nandosata and Tantosata were split off from a large Kolusian empire than existed many centuries ago, but over the years began to lose grip on the Kolus. The last surviving area of the empire was Satavite, to the north-east of the continent. After the last emperor of the Empire died, his two twin sons could not agree on whom to rule their nation, and after a drunken brawl, they decided, after getting even more drunk that they should have two kingdoms to rule over. King Nando of Nandosata, and King Tanto of Tantosata. After becoming sober, the two instantly regret their decision, and engage an all out war to correct their mistakes. Ongoing conflict has occured since, with only recent ground being gained, but thanks to new "Trench Warfare" Tactics, the numbers of soldiers dead has been immense.
Following the past 50 years, Nandosata has been free of monarchy, but recent laws prevent Tantosatan nationals from voting, as part of an extensive embargo due to war

Is it in the RP. If so, you need to do the national refocus project. Although I'm sure it's okay to change within 10 or so hours of RP opening.

I am thinking of grabbing that big unclaimed Island in the Southern Hemisphere, near the center of the map.
I've been reading Starship Troopers, and I am very very eager to start a nation using that political model.
But, as of the moment of writing, I am in a secluded and isolated place limited to a low-bandwith internet connection and mobile devices only, so I can not create a flag or map.
I must ask, could I create a Nation Application without a flag and map, for the moment, until I can create those?

I am sure once you join the Mobile Infantry, and become a citizen, you can get access to much better bandwidth.

I'm going to make a new nation since I've been forced into a trial by fire with someone who would open a vein and sell a kidney for their nation. Â And on the other side of the map we have someone who is signing a treaty to guarantee they do nothing. Â I'm going to be like the latter. Sanga is going to fall to Kortugans after Charzy takes my colony.

- Galelarks were originally a nomadic tribe of fishermen who settled down on the bright waters of the Celen crater a few thousand years ago. They were very secluded and peaceful, who traded with some of the lesser tribes of the area. They were the first to map the Wakir Ocean in its entirety. About 500 years ago, they came in contact with Sangan and Kutan settlers and quickly adapted these new technological ideas. They still are largely peaceful people, ruled by a benevolent and massively approved King Hil II. Roughly a 100 years ago, they started industrializing, and quickly grew their population by building up agricultural infrastructure. Now they still remain peaceful and neutral, having the smallest military spending in the world.

I've chosen Logiscism as my lands religion, based on these two assumptions: as it is semi-isolated from the rest of the world, it has had room to develop it's own faith, and second: it may lead to interesting ideological conflicts later on with the rest of the Krakenist countries. (Hehe...)

- Being an insular nation, the Federation has been relatively unturmoiled by other countries. The Federation had it's routes from the Kortugans who inhabited the land before them: 254 years before the present day, a group of military members, displeased with how their brothers and sisters were conducting the island, in many separate and disbanded groups constantly at war, impeding any actual development to occur, joined togheter and created a provisory government. Backed by their military force, they could annex the other groups and unified them into a single democratic government by 217 BPD. Universal suffrage was in order, and things went well for the next 50 years.
By 160 BPD, people started abusing their powers: voting for less and less strict punishments for criminal infractions, opening up legal loopholes, and general poor political choices. The "Freedom" being enjoyed by them made the hapiness levels rise, but Despite this seeming peace, crime levels were increasing. More and more people were becoming infractors, as they knew there would be no real punishment for their actions.
A decade later, chaos was starting to take over. Riots, revolutions and uprisings were starting to happen everywhere, and it seemed that once again, the Hadar Island would be balkanized. Taking emergency action, the military, inspired by their antecessors, took over control by a military junta. They pacified the land and held control. They once again installed a democratic government, but this time, the president and other positions could only be held and elected by military men.
Peace reigned for the next decade, but the military heads were starting to get corrupt, living from the people while they dwelled in poor conditions. But in 154 BPD, the population decided that it would be no more. Togheter with the lower ranks of the military, the civilians ran a revolution that overcame the corrupt head.
Once again, they were confronted by the choice of what they should do. Should they return to the Universal Sufferage, which had lead them to the verge of collapse? Or should they go back into a military dictatorship, which, given enough time, will inevitably become corrupt and exploit their people?
Neither. Instead, they installed the Constution. Every man or woman has the right to vote; after a period serving in the military or as a public servant. This ensured only those who were willing to give all of themselves for the greater good would have the ultimate power: the power of vote.
Measures were taken, however, to prevent the military to retain control: military men would only receive full citizenship after their period was complete, as to avoid incidents.
With the Federation instaured in 153 BPD, a new golden age began, and has lasted ever since. All civilians have free access to quality education and healthcare, public transport and basic services such as water and electricity. Taxes might be a bit high, but the are used to effect, maintaining a high quality of life.
This by no means signifies that there are no problems in the Federation, but at least, the basic needs of those under it's wing are correctly taken care of.
For the next 150 years, not much has happened. Two years ago, however, signs of an underground group have started to appear, displeased with the limited control civilians have over their lives and the nation. No attack has yet happened, nothing but wispers have been heard from them, but they lurk, waiting for a chance to seize the power and end the miracle that is the Federation...
