Racing. Speed. Victory.

Three things that have enchanted everyone from grown men to little children.

They say everything runs slower when you're on the edge.

Why not the edge of 200mph?

WAGPA, or World Automotive Gran Prix Association, is a global entity, consisting of a few lead members commissioned from premier automotive positions and institutions around the world. Their goal is to run a global racing series, with only the best drivers and best engineers from each nation. As such, they are going to begin said global racing series, called the Kerbin Gran Cup Series, running 5 races a year with a max field of 30 cars. It will cost 5mk to enter a car, but nations can have more than one car. Limits on per-nation cars will only be imposed if securing an entry slot becomes a problem.

Cars will be built by the premier automotive company or bureau of a nation, within certain specifications. A general body design must be followed, with weights, ride height, wing angle, horsepower, torque, fuel consumption, and driver safety all within certain bounds. A specific committee will investigate any infractions, lead by a review panel of 5.

Prizes will be awarded at the end of a race season, with 50% of entry fees going to the 1st place nation, 2nd place getting 25%, and 5% going to 3rd. The remaining 20% goes to the WAGPA to develop a new car standard or sponsor new tracks/corporate sponsorships/party yachts necessary equipment.

At the moment, we do not have the funds necessary to join this organisation. We do aspire to join in the future, however.

Could we receive the paint scheme of your car and a map of the track? (OOC: A drawing will do, Paint will suffice.)

We're sorry, the cockpit must be open-top, there's no room for modifications like that. Furthermore, it will be 5mk to enter.

Open cockpits compromise our driver's safety. If we cannot have it, then we refuse to join.

Open cockpits keep the driver at maximum awareness of his surroundings, reduce weight, increase drag, and allow for rapid egress in an accident. We don't know what you're talking about.

a completely glass cockpit allows for near maximum awareness of his surroundings, the weight is minimal, and you can easily pop it for rapid egress. It can also protect from flying debris, if it's reinforced glass like we'd designed.

We do not see how debris would a problem since there is already specifications regarding a small windshield, plus, we are certain your driver will be wearing a helmet. The weight of reinforced glass is an significant amount our engineers would also like to point out.

Two major companies in the MRN have sponsored a car each. The 10 MK costs shall be wired to you through government means. The construction of a track in the mountains, as well as a city-course is also going to be sponsored by the Njapontor government, after a successful vote from the public.

We'd like to apologize for the delay of the race season due to an inability to create a schedule from a lack of track, however we'd like to notify everyone that the Algor Desert States has built us a track complex and entered three teams, so we shall proceed with a season next year.
