Ensjorehningiriki Announces First Supersonic Flight at Sea Level!

This afternoon, during a press conference, Hersir Jan Loh of Wartime Affairs and Hersir Jan Pin of the Developmental Affairs announced that Ensjorehningiriki had performed the very first supersonic flight at sea level. This feat was performed by the combined efforts of the First Sky Warriors' Squadron test pilot Kin Zi and the research team working on the "Raider" project.

The Raider MK I was showcased at the press conference, though the nose of the cockpit seemed slightly deformed. The pilot took pictures of the speedometers and altimeter in his aircraft while flying it in order to prove the accomplishment. (Shown Below)

It is reported that, at sea level, he achieved a speed of 451.2 meters per second which at that altitude translates into 1.3 times the speed of sound.

We congratulate this achievement, and hope this will only bring good and advancement, and not be used in warfare.

On the contrary, one Sky Warriors squadron have already had their aircraft updated to this new, modern design. The others are expected to be complete within the year.
