Okura-sho (Ministry of the Finances)

The Okura-sho is the organ of the Daijo-kan deputied to oversee the public treasury, the collection of taxes and tributes, the regulation of weights and measures and the financement of public and private economical enterprises.

The Minister is appointed by the Tenno at his discretion, while still consulting with his counselors.
