Today, the IROS core module was put into an 80.2x80.2km orbit, and cleared for habitation after a relatively uneventful launch. We feel as if the first crew will be ready by at least next year for station checks.

The goal of IROS is to create an international fueling outpost in LKO. Access will not be simply be by showing up, but by registering for a docking port and certain amount of fuel when the station is ready to begin accepting craft. Future launches will be the first crews to check station integrity and systems, as well as adding more fuel storage in the ways of LFO, oxidizer, RCS, and some xenon stores. Our goal for IROS is to be fitted with at least 4 large fuel tanks roughly the size of an Arti booster full of fuel stores for future munar and interplanetary missions. Depending on future use, the station layout may be re-arranged with the onboard robotic arms to fit an extra pair, for the cost of launching two docking adapters so the station can still fuel 4 vessels.

If you are interesting in getting behind IROS, there are no requirements at the moment, but warning us now would be appreciated.
