World Championship of Kerbin WCK

Nations of the world welcome! The WCK is a Segerlinen sponsored intiative that seeks to further connect the world through sports. For the first time ever Kerbin will face a world championship in a variety of sports. Below you will see a list of sports that will take place during the WCK 223.2:

Soft Gladiator*
Wrestling

* Soft Gladiator is a traditional Segerlinen sport that emerged during the first Anarcho Republic more than a century ago. Before those times it was common to have lower class people, prisoners of war or slaves fight for freedom and glory against animals and also themself. While fights against animals still occur in Segerline, it is carried out by many proffessionals from all corners of life. Soft Gladiator is a peaceful decendant of the gladiator games that involves Kerbal vs Kerbal. Kerbals wielding armor, shields and un-sharpened swords or axes fight against each other trying to get enough points accumilated through hitting then opponent on certain spots a number of times.

New sports

As the tournament progress in the future, other hosts can decide to add more sports into the list for that particular WCK. Every three years a WCK will be held somewhere in the world with a host randomly being chosen. The host of this year will be the Syndicalist Federal Republic of Segerline!

Rules:

Follow the rules of all the sports.
Only one team of athletes may be sent per sport.
No doping.

To apply for the WCK each year, the participating nations must all pay a fee of 5 MK* which will go directly to the prizes for the winning nations.
Nationstates such Terripana and New Arova are excused to pay less due to their limited economies, and a prize can be negotiated for them later.

PRIZES

From the money donated through either joining the event or just donating as a favour to the WCK will go to the prizes. The money will be distributed amongst the winning nations. If nation X wins 20% of the sports then nation X will get 20% of the money.

Current money to be donated through prizes:

80 MK (Segerline donated 20 MK extra, MSRNH donated 10 MK extra)

Narcona will attend.

The Democratic Republic of Kahlawia will partecipate, on peaceful auspices.

The Glorious Empire of Fisnavavaada will attend. We are ready to send the funds whenever you are ready to receive.

Raxiran will attend

The Most Serene Republic of united Nordgevyntemynte and Hogenwrogen will attend the olympics. We will send the best of our best athletes and sportsmen. We will pay 15 MK for the prizes however since our national bank is seeming to be too high of amount. (OOC: damm im so generous).

We understand that, but they have no reason to claim outright superiority. That would make no rivalry take place, if one nation supposedly dominated.
