Bardemanstadt Parade

A big street in Bardemanstadt, Segerline was closed down today in a operation to make it the future parade street of Segerline. Already some decorations and grandstands was errected to prepare for the uppcoming parade in two months. On some seats you could even see some signs with names such as "Kahlawia, Kyux, MSRNH" among others. It would be the largest Segerlinen show of force in history. Already some troops were training for the uppcoming historical parade.

Just hours before the parade, the parade street was more busy than usual. Soldiers in the thousands were being instructed into neat formations on the north easten end of the road facing westwards. Their sergeants yelling at some soldiers who may or may not have forgot to polish that tiny stain on their right shoulder. "LISTEN TO ME YOU LITTLE PIECE OF SHIT! HOW ARE YOU EXPECTED TO SLAY THE BOURGEOIS IF YOU CAN'T EVEN FOLLOW THE SIMPLE DIRECTIVE OF CLEANING YOUR SUIT BEFORE THE PARADE?!"

They were all dressed in their parade uniforms, which was a grey grey suit jacket filled with service ribbons. Underneath it there was a black tie and white shirt. Their insignias were sown on their shoulders, and with their unit citation and the Segerlinen flag on the left and right arm respectivly. They were wearing grey pants matching their jacket, with black well polished boots and a grey helmet resembeling the bastard child of a british ww2 helmet and a russian post war helmet. The officers were also carrying white gloves and a traditional Segerlinen small sword resembeling something from the 025s (late 1700s)

The various apartments and administrative buildings were runing to the sides of the street. Every balcony had been decorated with flags and slogans such as "Soldaten der Arbeiterinnenklasse vorwärts" and curious and patriotic spectators there who had the luck of getting first hand seats to the parade when they moved into the house years ago.

Albreicht Karmeman with his wife arrived at the scene in his car. A eager private met him and lead him to the designated seat. To the left of the seat you could see the signs "Kahlawia, Raxira" and to the right of the seat you could see the signs "MSRNH, S.Oxuythar and Kyux". In front of his seat stood a microphone as if he would hold a speech later.

Everything were going to plan.

When everything was in place and every delegate had arrived and the parade street was surrounded by people. Albreicht stood up to hold a short opening speech.

"My people, the proteliat of kerbin and the foreign guest. What stands before me is the most advanced military force on Kerbin. It is a direct consequense of our hardships and high quotas of the four year plan which had lead to a new golden age for the Segerlinen people. As we broke the chains from Aldenheisen in the anarchist revolution, hoping for freedom and peace, we were thrown into yet more oppression by the bourgeois. Today we are a strong nation, with a massive growth in farming and industrial technologies. Leading to much efficient farming methods and a nuclear based power grid.

Today Segerline is among the leading nations of the world, and at every front we have beaten our enemies when they have sought to destroy us. Today we stand here in Bardemanstadt to celebrate our belowed federation and the armed forces of the people. Armed forces possessing technology which has been pioneered by Segerline and made our armed forces the most effective in the world, with even more technological advances comming in the near future.

General, lead our troops forward, and may the parade begin!"

A car without roof enters the street. Inside stands the General of the landforces of Segerline in his traditional uniform, and a microphone mounted to the car.

"Comrades of the Nationale Volksarmee, HEIL!"

All the soldiers yell in one voice "HEIL Oberst General"

The General continues "Soldiers of the NVA, riiight faace!"

The soldiers all at once turns to the right.

"Soldiers of the NVA forward. MARCH!"

The car drives forward with the General saluting the grand stands.

More than ten thousand soldiers march in neat formations. With the paratroopers marching proudly first. The Colonel leading the paratroopers proudly caries his unit flag and his ultramarine beret. Behind him marches two captains with their berets and swords leading the paratroopers forward, everyone marching in the pace of the marching drum.

The live commentator on Segerlinen national television comments.

"And here comes the proud and few Segerlinen paratroopers. It is thought to be the most effective paratroopers in the world. Not only are they all trained to a extremely elite standard, but they are also supported by superior firepower on the battlefield. Each soldier is attached to the KZA-222 IFV which brings them speed and firepower needed to fight their way into enemy territory. All they need is delivered from a cargo aircraft and in a moments notice they can transform from a paratrooper unit to a highly effective mechanized unit. Making them the only mechanized paratroopers in the world."

Behind marches the Kampfschwimers with their blood red berets. White shirts and blue jackets and pants.

"Here comes the Kampfschwimers of the NVA. They are the frontline units of choice when you want to storm the enemy beaches. New vehicles for them to become ultra effective on the battlefield is already on the drawing board. In the future, the enemy garrisons will rather flee than fight when they see the red berets of death on their beaches."

After them marches the 10 000 infantry soldiers belonging to 1. Motorisierte-Schützen-Division.

"While being trained as a regular infantry man, these soldiers are still highly effective. While other nations use trucks to transport their infantry. These soldiers are part of a pioneering project which will transform all the infantry in the NVA to be transported by armoured trucks, capable of protecting them from chemical, biological weapons and lethal radiation. These trucks can also provide heavy machine gun fire against enemy positions and will be a viable asset in the metal wave doctrine currently being developed by our armed forces."

Behind these soldiers a regiment of soldiers carrying highly advanced NBC suits marches on.

"Developed in 222, these highly effective protection suits can protect our soldiers from all known chemical weapons in the world and biological weapons. Making it viable for our armed forces to gas enemy positions and then storm them with infantry without taking casualties."

After the infantry drives a collum of armoured vehicles, with the first being the KZA-222. A ultra light Infantry Fighting Vehicle with a high caliber fully automatic cannon and a grenade launcher on top near the hatch. In the front it has a 7.62 mm gun, and on top of the tank is two hatches for infantry to jump into. It is light enough to be paradropped from a cargo aircraft, and is still capable of taking out enemy fortified positions with ease, and enemy armoured vehicles. It is a combination between firepower and speed, which is essential for the paratroopers on the battlefield. On top of these IFVs vehicle commanders in ultramarine berets stand and salute the grandstands.

Behind those vehicles drives a collun of SPW-20s. It is the only APCs in the world (OOC: yes you are all using trucks unless investing in APCs according to mods) i drives on eight wheels, and is mounting a 14mm gun on its turret and a smaller 7.62mm gun to take out infantry. It is highly effective of breaking stalemates with normal infantry units and can send infantry soldiers at really high speeds and provide supportive fire for the infantry.

Behind it drives the pride of the NVA. The Kampf Panzer 20, it is considered one of the best tanks in the world. The entire street is filled with the roar of its high powered engine. Its incredibly thick armour and ERA, together with its really high caliber gun, capable of firing missiles. Is a sight to behold. It is said  to encompass increadible speed, armour and firepower to the battlefield. Unofficially it is called the 'Overlord slayer'. The soldiers stand proudly in their coal black berets, saluting the grand stands, as their tank roars through the parade street.

After it drives the aritlery corps with the well known ASBR-05s which is known as inter continental anti-ship missiles capable of killing carriers.

Behind those trucks drives trucks carrying Vampire missiles, which has become a legend in itself after the humiliating defeat that happened to Kyux.

While many new equipment was new in this parade and full of suprises, even more suprises was discovered.

In the air flies 12 attack helicopters, the first of their kind. They are described of aircraft of the future capable of destroying modern tanks, decemating infantry and taking out enemy AA and radar installations. The helicopters carry both laser guided missiles and high caliber rocket pods and a 30mm chain gun. They all disperes the Segerlinen flag through aerosol canisters spreading painted aerosol.

After the parade Albreicht looks at the delegates, to see if they are impressed by these new weapon systems which in many cases will change the concept of modern warfare forever.

Narcona is worried by such massive developments in an armed force for an island nation that has violent organizations sympatheic for their cause.

Terripana apologises that we could not send a delegate to the parade.

Well, I am impressed by this show. Also, I should remind to punish those engineers that assured me our so called "open top wheeled personal transports" where the top notch in development.

Of course, call the logical distrust of a massive armed force that has publicized their ability to strike with extreme force and has weapons that can spray you with a horrible death, not to mention several sympathetic organizations that wish to inflict terror on our populous paranoia. Just because you are part of their communist alliance does not give you the right to insult us for not.

We were saying the Shadow and the Worker's Army. They both are sympathetic to you, as your ideologies are much the same.

Not at all. Last time their ideology was in power of Segerline it turned out to be a bourgeois nightmare. That's why we launched the coup d' etat. Besides even if they even remotely resembles our ideology, what does that matter?

You believe segerlines is aiding anarchists, because you say they have the same ideology, you will need more proof then that if you want to covince anyone of your paranoia.

Anyway, Raxira is impressed to say the least, segerlines has definitely made great leaps in technological advancements.
