With that, he throws both knives at the Kutanese emperor, one grazing off his arm, the other sinking hilt deep into the kerbs heart.The assassin then pulls the last knife from his pocket and sprints from the room.

Hearing the commotion as they leave, the Hersir, having now retrieved her axe and put it at her side, turns to look at the door in shock just as the guard, covered in blood from stabbing a guy in the fucking neck, runs out. As he continues, she calls out "Wh- Grab him!". She rushes at the bloodstained man along with both of her subordinates, with her hand at her axe.

"Holy shit!" President Kane collapses to the ground in a heart attack. "Rosebud" he uttered, before completely falling on the ground.

The general rushes out, quickly grabbing his combat gear

(Parrying dagger, short sword) and already wearing armor.

Upon hearing murders, Lisakki and his two bodyguards wield their ceremonial staffs and assume a fighting stance.

The assassin bolts, not engaging anyone who doesn't engage him, running straight for the nearest exit.

Time having passed slowly in the dining room, the guards there are tired and slow to react when a bodyguard drives his knife into one of the attendees' neck and stomach. By the time they realize what is going on and radio for help, the assassin has thrown his knives at another man and fled the room. Platters crash to the floor as waiter realize what has occurred and run to the kitchen.

Out in the hall, however, the guards have been notified on the radio and are ready. As the assassin bolts out, men block the various exits. One fires several shots towards the man's center of mass, while two others charge at him from either side, rifle-butts at ready to knock the man over. Meanwhile, one more bewildered guard tries to block the Kerbs with axes, believing them to have been involved in the murders.

In addition, within a few moments the local paramedics and additional police forces have been notified. Sirens wailing, ambulances and police cruisers speed up towards the meeting hall while the on-site medical staff attempt to save those injured, dead or dying.

Not only are the guards not blind, but the Kutan Emperor is not present. At least try to see who am I and if you might actually have a motive to do so before trying to kill me.

I'd assumed Dogon had cleared it with you. Also, some of the posts here don't really reference your leader's death and could've been left in.

They do refer to the guards just sort of standing there instead of doing what they've been trained to do for presumably years.
