Explosion in the Njapontor Space Complex - 1 Kosmonaut Dead.
Today has been both a great day for the Njapontor Space Program, but also a day of tragic mourning. Earlier today, the first manned capsule launched by the MRNSA lifted off into suborbital trajectory atop a Munyar rocket. The capsule carried the first MRN Kosmonaut, Cpt. Petar Filipovic, into space. He later landed safely on the ground.
However, the second Kosmonaut, L/Cmdr. Bogdan JuriĊĦa, was killed after an accident on the launchpad concerning the Kutan-made Munyar rocket. The explosion has been determined to be an engine fault. The reason as to why the engine caused such a problem is unknown, however the Munyar 4011 rocket purchased last year is being sent back to the Kutan Empire for investigation. The MRNSA and Njapontorian Government gives it's thoughts to the family and friends of the first kerbal killed in the Njapontorian Space Program. The images of both launches are below.
The MRNSA has announced that reconstruction of Launchpad-5 is to begin after the funeral, and the Launchpad Annex is to be named after the deceased in homage to his bravery.

DBP-1 are assembling a team to investigate the wreckage and the launch infrastructure at Njapontor, to ensure that tragedies of this kind do not recur.

After full inspection of the Munya 4110 ordered by the MRN, as well as other unflown or unfinished Munya vehicles, no defects have been found severe enough to lead to an incident of this kind. There was not enough remaining of the first stage to determine a cause for the failure; at this point, we cannot rule out an incident of sabotage during transport.

If sabotage is to be the case, a full investigation shall be held by EPSILON in order to find and detain the culprits.
