Segerlinen Engineering Department

The Segerlinen Engineering Department is an construction branch of the Syndicalist Federal Republic of Segerline. It is funded by high taxes and is mainly responsible today for the Segerlinen four year plan that aims to put the Segerlinen economy into a powerhouse.

To celebrate the victory of the civil war, a giant monument is put in place. Kerbs from all around the country eagerly gather resources and draws up plans for this magnificent monument that will become the symbol of Segerline.

The motive that has been agreed upon is a giant statue of a A.S.A flagbearer leading the charge with one Fisnavavaadan and one Kahlawian soldier in the rear. A very big ceremonial park will then be arranged around this statue with the smaller statues for every major battle which will contain the name of the soldiers who have fallen in the war. This monument will be called the statue of sacrifice.

The opening of the war monument happened with much fanfare. People were cheering, and everyone watching felt pride over their work. This was a very beautiful monument in their eyes.

However, it is not over just yet. Although the war is over, the entire nation is in ruins. Many homes have been destroyed, and many doesn't want to live in the labour camps that they have lived in their entire life. People feel like it is time for them to decide what they want to do with their life. This has lead to a migration to the countryside, where people are starting to build their own homestead.

In the cities, giant bulldozers can be seen demolishing the old labour camps to make room for new housing and factories. On the countryside, you can see minesweepers crossing big open fields. Segerline was changing for the better, many have decided that it is time to finally live their lifes in freedom and in peace.

Through a cooperation between the Segerlinen Science Collective, the Abwehrmacht, private sponsors and us we have finally begun our quest into space. Today a paper was signed that authorised the S.E.C to start the construction of the first space center in Segerline, it is belived to be operable in the close future and it is belived that the first rocket will be sent shortly after the opening of the space center.

Although the Abwehrmacht is helping to fund the space programme, it is not a military programme. They seem to just want the technology to advance so that they may find something that can be useful for them aswell. All rockets that are sent from the space center will be civilian.

As we speak, scientist from all around the country is drawing up plans for the space programme, it is no secret that everyone is excited over the possibilities that lies ahead.

With the discovery of uranium on Segerlinen soil, a massive mining operation is about to emerge. The S.E.C has been tasked with building a big array of Uranium mines in Segerline.

With collaberation with the Segerlinen Sience Collective and the Segerlinen Space Union. We have begun the construction of a rocket that will be sent into space in the first ever Segerlinen launched space mission.

The rocket model is named VR-03, and the space programme that will be launched under is called "Moho".

A joint project between the Abwehrmakt, The Segerlinen Science Collective and the Segerlinen Engineering Cooperation is under way. With the Unionswehr rebuilt, the military is now looking at their navy. It is a sad sight with outdated diesel submarines and two carriers, but no other surface ship.

The Defence minister has decided that we should begin to rebuild our navy to its former glory using the latest technology in our favour. This is a massive project that will be divided into different parts. The first part will be to build up a brown water navy, and then later we can look into building a open seas navy.

The Segerlinen Engineering Cooperation has signed a contract with the Abwehrmakt to build a series of bunkers on Faktorien island. The construction will begin imedietly.

A contract has been signed between the SEC and the Abwehrmakt. Two ASBR-05s with warheads shall be built effective imedietly.
We have also been ordered to help the Aeroflotte by building Ground Attack Squadrons and Airsuperiority Squadrons.

With the announcement of the Segerlinen four year plan, the industrial development quickly got to work. In every city you could see truck after truck loaded with industrial equipment streaming into the city. Skycranes dotted the cities and soon enough industries was being built.

With most of the industries of the four year plan being completed. The Segerlinen Revolutionary Comitté looked towards the peasants. The peasants had long been ruled by the Landsheiren which were a class of wealthy peasants and landowners who had ruled the country side. A radical idea was introduced which was to collectivise the country side of Segerline in a massive land re-distribution of the countryside. Also new farming techniques such as the foreign concept of 'factory farms' was introduced in Segerline and a total of five complexes are planned for now.

A massive propaganda campaign was also put into place, not only to show off the success of the four year plan, but also to show the world the great progress of the Segerlinen revolution and the hapiness of the people. Soon a propaganda film was being broadcast around Segerline showing a 'typical' Segerlinen collective and the effects of the collectivisation and modernisation. In the film the workers were singing about how great the system, their life is and how great the leader is.



A series of propaganda posters were also issued around the countryside praising the four year plan, or "The great step onwards" as it had been nicknamed by the public.

A massive arena for the WCK is constructed under much fanfare. The city of Bardemanstadt will from now on be known as the city with the largest sports arena in the world.

Based on the experiences of the four year plan, the planners has a massive lessons learned session to further understand what went good and what went bad so that they may better improve their economic policies. From these sessions they are now certain that they will be able to improve the Segerlinen economy by a long shot.

The Four Year Plan Commité also saw that the Segerlinen energy sector was under strain from this big influx of new industries. They soon realised that a new non-coal based electric powerplant needed to be created. Nuclear powerplants had during recent years been used alot in warships to propell them incredible distances without refueling. It was decided that nuclear powerplants was the future of energy generation and quickly drafted a programme to replace the Segerlinen electrical sector with the worlds first commercial nuclear powerplant based system.

Under military protection, three installations are built in Segerline. One being in Ürstberg island, one being near Stredenstadt and one being built in Faktorien island. There is also a facility being built in Terripana.

A much more advanced radar system is being developed for Segerline.

Development of the BTR-25 Radar for 100 PP finished 28th of November 17.45 Swedish Time.

A national highway system is being constructed. This will vastly improve the nation's infrastructure and allow industry to expand in all areas. Named Project Kareman, after the country's dearly departed leader, it has been announced that the project will "greatly increase the nation's overall industrial capacity" over the next cycle.
