Can someone explain what's happened?

See title. As best as I can see it, someone got into an argument with Ascen so Ascen retaliated by going 'If I can't have it, no-one can' and banning a ton of people for no reason.

People banned them selves and/or deleted accounts, from what I saw.

Oh, and he contacted the current KSP Community Manager to stop us from advertising there, as well as threatening to sue us.
