DMP Dark MultiPlayer server

I think it would be fun to have a common server. It would be sandbox and mainly for screwing around, building mün bases, space stations and more! We need someone to host this though, if no one else can i can, but it would be hamachi ad the up time would not be that great (No up-time for Americans, only a few hours for Europeans)'

Crappy jokes aside, I think a KSPRP DMP server is a great idea. The main challenge is issues due to players from two different continents (three if you count poor Hellorp in Australia), although time zones may help transcontinental lag.

If the server were made, what mods would we use? I'm not sure if you can use mods at all in DMP, but I suggest we keep mods to a minimum, by only using small mods like kerbpaint.

I'd suggest no mods at all. Im farely sure kerbpaint could work on client sides only, so it would not affect the server.

Seeing that dogon did a good job hosting the KSPRP minecraft server before we all got bored of it, I nominate him for hosting the DMP server.


Hellorp said that we can use mods on DMP. Should we use any mods on our server? I prefer stock gameplay, but I think the following mods will make the multiplayer game a bit easier.
-MechJeb
-Kerbal Alarm Clock
-KAS
-Kerbpaint


Maybe we can also use Kethane or Karbonite? It'll give us a reason to go colonize stuff.

To add on top of that, we can make it a mini-roleplay and start of corporations Macy Dean style and fight over resources in space.

I prefere stock but all of the ones you mentioned should work without adding them as they are client side mods.

I dun really like stock KSP. It's way better with mods. I can port forward, if you guys want..
