Terripanan Officials Arrested for Treason

Today, 12 Terripanan Government Officials were arrested for treason after video footage was uncovered of them accepting a large amount of cash in the form of bribes from the rising cartels on the island. The government is currently on lockdown whilst they search for any further perpetrators. The Terripanan Army has requested that the Segerlinen forces on Terripana assist them in seeking out the cartels.

The Terripana Garrison was put on full alert, and equipment was prepared in early dawn. Many soldiers had never seen combat before, so this was a entirely new experience for them. Never the less, at high noon next day, collums of KZA-222s and KPZ-20s left camp Tropic Thunder, wielding Segerlinen flags and ultramarine berets. They would do what they could to aid the Terripanan regime.

After a vicious attack committed by the combined gangs on Terripana, avenging the arrests made by the Terripanan Military, a fertilizer truck weaponized as a highly dangerous bomb detonated outside of the Governmential Palace upon being set alight minutes before. Firefighters could not fight the blaze, and after the explosion, armed gunmen assaulted the palace. The military was overrun - The last surviving members of the Government have issued the island under Segerlinen military control. Orders will be given from Tropic Thunder, until the issues are resolved.

Upon hearing the news citizens could hear the cities roar and crumble before Segerlinen tanks and mechanized infantry. Gunfire was exchanged between gunmen and paratroopers in the streets surrounding the palace, and the occasional explosion from the heavy canon of the KPZ-20 blasting a stronghold to pieces. The idea is to secure the surrounding area and then launch a full out assault on the palace.

Individual pockets of gunmen and gang members fire at the assaulting Segerlinens. Other gang members realise that fighting is to no avail; some surrender, others commit suicide.

In the cities, groups of unruly Terripanan civilians begin throwing small stones at the passing vehicles and soldiers, shouting "Segerliners go back home!".

People who surrendered were taken as prisoners and where to be trialed later. Areas where protestors throw stones are handed over to the Terripanan army, with Segerlinen tanks as fire support.

With the palace destroyed and the government presumably dead, the paratroopers storm the palace and kills the last gunmen and looks for survivors. Also amongst the chaos, several installations were seized by paratroopers such as radio and tv stations, administrative buildings. And even the Terripanan military base was surrounded. In erhm, the interest to hrm defend it from terrorists.
