Also download Windows Security Essentials if you don't have it and make sure it's updated.

What exactly does WSE do? Is it necessary if I already have an antivirus (AVG)?

It's entirely free and it's probably the best antivirus software you can get on Windows.

To be honest, **** AVG. It deleted 2 of my games which were completely fine and i uninstalled it as fast as possible

AVG is actually pretty good but when i had to reinstall windows 7 i just installed MSE

Any competent antivirus should keep you protected.

Well - Minecraft (pirated >: P), LOTR: Battle of Middleearth and also The elder scrolls oblivion.

Well the first one is your own fault for pirating games. AVG probably thought the last two had some harmful code in the exe files.

Pirated or not, it's very unlikely that it would be a virus or be deleted by an antivirus program if he had downloaded a crack worth it's 1's and 0's.
