WPRP Sends Ultimatum to Aquitia!

With the understanding that the Imperium Aquitus has now violated all of the obligations outlined by the treaty of Aquita in declaring the treaty null and void, thereby squandering their honour and all remaining trust placed in them by the World People’s Republic of the Proletariat (hereafter referred to as the WPRP), let it be known that, in doing so, the Aquitan government has also voided the ceasefire between itself and the WPRP outlined in Article III of the Treaty.

Let it be known, therefore, that a state of war now exists between the Imperium Aquitus and the WPRP. Furthermore, as the current government, though allowed to remain in control after the Aquitan war of aggression, cancelled the previous treaty between itself and the WPRP, it has been deemed untrustworthy among the nations of Kerbin, and as such the WPRP hereby demands the unconditional surrender of the Imperator and all the members of his government, including the Imperial Senate.

The WPRP also demands that the government of the Imperium Aquitus hands over all civilian powers, being them the legislative, executive and judiciary, to the Commander of WPRP Forces in Aquitae, with the aim to facilitate fair and free democratic elections, with the understanding that, prior to the civilian powers handed over to an Aquitan freely elected government, a legally binding treaty will be established between the WPRP and the newly elected government of the former Imperium Aquitus to outline the relationship between it and the WPRP and the rights and responsibilities of both parties. The civilian powers will remain in the hands of the Commander of the WPRP Armed Forces in Aquitae until the treaty is signed.

The Aquitan government has 12 hours (1 IC hour from the time of this post) to accept, or measures will be taken to end the state of war between the two countries.

Aquitae does not surrender. You shall try to exert your power over us, yet we will not be intimidated. You may try to impose your ideology upon us, but we Aquitians shall not listen. Let your soldiers come, because as long as there is a sole Aquitian left alive on this planet, the death of your countrymen shall not end.
