Celebrations in Segerline

As the news of the historical space flight, reaching the public in Segerline. A major parade and a week of celebrations is in order. The last parade, the biggest one where Heinrich recive the Republican Star of Heroism for his work for the fatherland is broadcasted everywhere in the Republic,

The parade street is filled with people behind the spectator fences. And first of the Segerlinsche Luftvaern der Republik (the airforce) is marching along the sreet with much fanfare. In the middle of their formation, a statue of Heinrich, the astronaut is on top of a big wagon that is being dragged along the way.

After the big parade, the national anthem is played on the street. A car without a roof is spotted moving along the road. Inside is the astronaut, and the crowd starts to cheer a ear deafining cheer. Confetti is being dropped from windows, and everyone tries to get a good look on the astronaut.

Once the car stops, he gets out and starts walking up the many stairs up to the porch of the Parliament. He shakes hand with Big Brother, and recieves his award with the crowd still cheering.

He starts a speech on the podium. Behind him you can see a big circle, symbolising unity of the Republic. After he finish his speech that was clearly dictated by the state, he looks around, as if he is contemplating something. He finally gain courage and raises his left hand so that it is in the middle of the circle. The crowd goes dead silent. He then forms a V with his fingers, the Anarcho Syndicalist of Segerline's sign. Some people starts doing the same, and you can see that people in black shirts and battons starts running into the crowd. The camera quickly shuts down due to 'technical difficulties'.

The Segerlinen news department starts broadcasting news as it usually do acroos the republic.

Rumors have spread, reported that Heinrich among the first two kerbs in space, was spotted in the north east of the main island. The Ministry of Love has reassured us that he died in the terrible accident a few days ago. They also say that spreading such destabilising rumors is act of terrorism.
