TGEF Condemns Segerline's Actions

The Emperor stands before a crowd on the palace terrace, with four tables of journalists in front of the crowd. He taps the microphone on his podium, and launches into a speech. "My fellow Fisnavavaadians, a horrible time is upon the world. A cruel dictator, one who wishes harm upon on his own people, rules the nation of Segerline, and has now embarked on a mass killing of his own population! The people of said nation must be freed from the shackles of their political slavery. As such, all ties with Segerline have been severed. All military units are on a shoot-at-first-sight order for any craft of Segerline's. Any personnel dealing with Segerline have been removed and returned to home soils. Our nation is at top alert. We will not tolerate these acts of governmental terrorism upon their own people. The world must become a better place than that if we wish to advance as a species. About that dictator..."

The Emperor turns to face a large white sheet hung taut over the wall. He grabs a rope beside it, and pulls, unfurling a picture of Big Brother.

"This man is the enemy. He is responsible for commanding the deaths of hundreds of innocents if not thousands, and is committing acts of pure terrorism against his own people."

Boos echo from the crowd off the otherwise silent government park.

"This man..." The Emperor shakes his fist, and grabs the podium tightly, as if if he were to let go, he would fly away into the menacing poster of Big Brother. "This man must pay for his actions. We would like the rest of the world to stand beside us in our conviction to free the people under his tyrannical rule."

"To prepare our nation for any aggressive action by this fiend, our military is on high alert, and for the next three months, will be undergoing full-scale exercises on land, sea, air, beaches, desert, mountains, and swamps. We will be ready."

The picture drops using a pair of sandbags tied to it, and hits the terrace behind the Emperor, to rid the people of the huge, terrifying face. "We will now be fielding questions from the journalists here today."
