We have already alerted world that they are being supported by Kahlawian forces. These are not civilians that we are fighting, these are terrorist, seemingly trained by military advisors from foreign lands and supported by foreign special forces.

This is indeed partly true. We did give them orders not to harm the villagers, but when running out of food they apparently asked for some. Not all were willing to give, so some were stolen. They still say minimal damage was done to the villages. This is for a greater good after all. If they did actually force 2000 to join them, its no where as bad as bombing 100,000 innocents!
