Fisnavavaadian Air Force Fires Coastal Defense Missile As Part Of New Demonstration

Today, the Fisnavavaadian Air Force fired a CDM-115A on a semi-ballistic flight trajectory from a pad in the southern part of the country to the targeting range at AFB Vandranlloyd in the northernmost part of the nation near the border with Kabundaka. The first stage fired the missile up beyond Mach 3 and 25km on a ballistic trajectory, where it descended back into thicker atmosphere over AFB Vandranlloyd. The fins aboard the terminal stage for gliding at supersonic speeds were ejected due to the target being nearly underneath the missile, giving it much higher manueverability. The onboard RCS fired as the missile fired it's three hypergolic liquid fueled engines to propel itself into the target at speeds above Mach 2. The test was considered an absolute success for all aspects of the flight.

We at the Fisnavavaadian Air Force would like to announce the program to convert all existing CDMs up to the new B standard, with highly improved targeting systems, allowing for more accurate strikes than ever before.
