Realising that Segerline was pretty much in technological backwaters, the various scientist of Segerline started a collective. The idea would be to bring the knowledge from all Segerlinen scientist into one organisation where they could help each other with equipment and funding for their projects, and even get researcher teams. Imedietly they began to cooperate with the Segerlinische Veltall Kollektiv to help send the Segerlinen people into space.
They have spent much time searching through the scientific files of the old regime for lost knowledge that they could use and they have found some very interesting things.

As the army had recieved upgrades for the past time, the science department turned their eyes into upgrading the navy into the most modern navy in the world. A new classified system for the ships was being developed. It is promised to increase the survivability and the combat effectiveness of the navy dramatically.
