The Second General Elections of Segerline

With the fourth year since the establishment of the Union of Segerline. The second general elections has taken place and a few ministers has been booted out of office.

Chairman of the G.K:


As expected, Heinrich Bardeman got elected for his second term in office.

Economic Minister:


The Federalist Adam Herzeitzen finally got elected. He views that the government should have a organising role in economics, but a much stronger role than a Authonomist lead government. The key to expand Segerlinen wealth according to him is to open up their exports abroad. The market is a very limited one in Segerline, and only the most successful industries has the capabilities to trade their goods abroad. He wants to change this by starting a governmental funded organisation that would sell the goods abroad. It would utilize the contacts of this current regime and use its influence to gain new contacts. The people then have the ability to give their products to this organisation and have it sell abroad. In return, it takes a small percentage of the income as payment, which would be sent to the government.

With this newly aquired wealth, they will use the money to help fund collectives that seek to build up the infrastructure of Segerline. Most of the money would go to build roads, railways and powerplants, but also air raid shelters and hospitals.

The collectives who build these projects with governmental money, would still be in charge of the building in question. Since the government shouldn't take a bigger position of power, only be an aid to distribute resources where is absolutely needed.

Defence Minister:


The Nationalist Karl Benedicht got elected as Defence Minister. He has proposed a small income tax should be payed by every Folksräte. The money would then go to only the armed forces of Segerline. He argues that the money is needed to make a highly modern force that is capable of protecting the freedoms of the people.

Science Minister:


The Authonomist Albert Reinhert got re-elected for another term in office. He views that the government shouldn't meddle directly in science affairs, but rather open up oppertunities for the science comunity. This could be achieved by negotiating science deals with other nations to get blueprints of advanced research. It is also achieved by giving grants to scientists who make big leaps in science that benefits the Segerlinen people.

Foreign Minister:

The Authonomist Valdemar Potenhausen got re-elected for another term in office. He insists that we should work on cooperating with the free world. This can be achieved by military exercises, trade deals and alliances. He is a strong supporter of the idea that a organisation should be founded that should work to protect the free people of the world against dictatorial imperialism.
