Three scientists, riding in an open-top three-wheeled truck with a .50 cal over the rear wheel, doors painted in FIA markings, rolls up to the bunker, built into a hill. The door is on the top, opening upwards to reveal a descending staircase into the two internal rooms, one of which has a view out the front of the hill down into a sweeping bowl of a desert valley. The three-wheeled truck pulls up near a cluster of military vehicles, ranging from half-tracks to four wheeled light trucks to even a light tank. The barrel is sitting in its travel lock, and underneath a tarp strung over the barrel and the two nearby trucks, a small group of military-uniformed individuals were talking quietly. From the edge, a kerbal steps out, and walks towards the scientists. He shakes the lead's hand, and leads them under the tarp.

Six miles and change away, atop a fifty foot metal test stand, just like the last one, sits Wonderbread-1. Wonderbread-1 is the first Mk5 bomb ever produced, with a designed yield of 250kt, designed to be launched aboard the new GODS-1 rockets out in the SIDEWINDER missile range.

The scientists have been working heavily on the project, and are finally about to see the fruits of their labor. Everyone walks out from under the tarp and towards the bunker, descending the stairs into the interior. They continue to the front of the bunker, where they can see outside through thick, shaded glass. A few minutes later...

A swirl of dust kicks up as the breeze changes direction, moving eastward versus northwards, typical changes during this time of year. The winds have been surprisingly stagnant, good for a nuclear weapons test.

A flash turns the sky to night as a giant fireball erupts six and change miles away from the bunker, glassing a tiny section of the desert, stretching miles into the atmosphere.

BREAD PUDDING was a successful test of the Mk5 nuclear weapon, intended for use on the GODS-1 weapons platform. Measured yield is 244.6kt, although future tests will probably have different yields in the 240-260 range.

OOC: All of this is top secret, and unknown to any government besides Fisnavavaada.
