Time is important, it is what makes sure we all end up in the same place when told to, and how we interpret events. Well, here on the forums, we have our own time system for IC things.

Each day in our real life (24 hours) is equal to 6 Kerbal days, a Kerbal week. Normally, it would just be a week per day, but due to possible division issues (7 days translates into 0.29166666666666666666666666666667 days per hour, whereas 6 cleanly turns into .25 days per hour), so a Kerbal week is now 6 days. One Kerbal year 424 Kerbal days. So, 17.6 IRL days is one Kerbal year.

A few facts -

1 Kerbal Day - 4 hours
1 Kerbal Week - 24 hours
1 Kerbal Year - 17.6 days
Kerbal Days since January 1st, 2012 (inception of Roleplay) - 1218
Kerbal Years since January 1st, 2012 - 2.9

This system is not to have a nationalized or personalized name. It is simply to be the Kerman Calendar. You may develop your own variants for personal use, but keep in mind that you must always post the time in KC (Kerman Calendar) beside the time system you have used.

Thank you!
