Operation Omen

At roughly midnight on the Sangan controlled territory in the North Veiid, a small launchpad is constructed in an empty field. In trucks roughly a thousand yards away from it, military officials with black aviators watch the rocket, solely illuminated by one light and shielded from any Ensorenjirki watchers across the mountains by a large plywood prop-up of a building. One of the officials starts a countdown timer. When the time reaches 3 seconds, a small SRB ignites. The rocket lifts off and streaks rapidly into the skies, heading west.

Roughly 10 minutes later, the officials watch as an ominous glow peers from the upper atmosphere. The light shines through the clouds and illuminates the shallow, calm waters.
