Welcome, esteemed guest. You have reached the Aeruzan Department of Foreign Relations. Below you will find a brief guide to our fine country and the means with which to contact us.

Information
Our nation is, in essence, a stratocracy. To the uneducated, this means that the entire nation is run by the military, which is in turn run by the people. At the age of eighteen every able citizen will enter into mandatory national service in the legions, and will remain a legionary for the remainder of their lives.
At the lead of our nation are the five Marshals. When one dies, or is retired, then they will be replaced by one of the thirty Lieutenant Marshals through a vote taken among all citizens of Legionary rank or higher.
It was once the issue that Marshals would grow old and corrupt and refuse to retire, but for hundreds of years we have become more civilised.
In the event that any citizen of Centurion rank or higher believes a Marshal to be to old for their job, they may call for a retirement.
The Marshal in question will then either retire with honour, or accept the implicit challenge of a duel. This is done to give the Marshal a chance to prove himself to still be an able warrior, and thus not too old to do their work effectively. Should the Marshal lose, the issue is solved and the vote will be taken for his successor. Should the Marshal win, he will remain at his post.

Much of our prosperity comes from our strong ties with neighboring steppe tribals. In return for just taxation, they are afforded the benefits of civilisation and a status near equal to a legionary.


Diplomatic Relations
At present, we have no ties to the outside world aside from basic trade. None have yet earned our friendship, nor have any invoked our wrath.

Cartography
Any competent geographer will know our place in the world, however it is to our knowledge that the uneducated often do not have a grasp of the geography of our country. The following is a basic guide to the most important locations in our lands.

We accept, with the condition that you provide for the architectural and engineering legionaries who will be building these embassies while they stay in your capital.

That is understandable, and likewise, if you could accommodate the Aquitians who shall be living in Aeruza it would be greatly appreciated.

Of course, they will be well provided for once we have finished construction of the embassies.

The Confederate Republic of Rikuto would like to establish embassies.

With the same conditions as before, we will accept.

The World People's Republic of the Proletariat wishes for an exchange of diplomatic delegations at our governments, to open an official diplomatic channel.
