- Our History:
During the modern era, with a population of 30,000 and growing, Terripana was under rule of President Esteban Romero and his Son, Heir and Vice-President Nicodemo Romero. The Terripanan Military began modernizing, and new mines were being built to exploit the land of it's natural riches. Eventually, the citizens and military of Terripana became sick of their dictator overlords, and the Romero family was executed. Esteban was shot down in Terripanan Airspace after returning from a conference, and his son was also killed when the Terripanan Army stormed the Palace - he was shot dead after he pulled out a pistol and killed a young Cabo Primero, Santiago Jimenez. Over 284 members of staff were arrested; 12 injured; 5 killed in a firefight with military forces. 2 members of the Terripanan Army were also killed.
After the downfall of Esteban Romero, the first Terripanan elections were held. Currently in power is Presidente Amancio Sanchez, leader of the Progressive Party.
Years after the elections, the facist regime was officially toppled by gangsters, however some distant voices speak of the odd fact that Segerlinen forces were quick to seize adminastrative buildings and propose the one and only alternative. Today Terripana is a Syndicalist regime lead by theruthless dictator Alejandropeople. Civilian and military parades are now common place in Terripana and people opposing the regime and Segerline tend to have bad luck on the roads. Alot of road accidents lately don't you think? I also heard someone drowned, how tragic...

- The Terripanan Army:
- The Terripanan Army consists of 4000 volunteers (2 Regiments), all willing to sacrifice their lives should war come to the nation: They are currently equipped with the TSAR Mk III (Terripanan Standard Assault Rifle). They are pledged to protect the Presidente, and are under direct command of him and his generals.
- The Terripanan Air Force:
- The TAF is compromised from 12, Sprinter-48 Multirole Air Superiority Fighters. Capable of destroying an array of different air targets, the TAF is skilled at what they do. The aircraft they use is armed with six, 0.50 calibre machine-guns, and can also be fitted with 907 kg's-worth of bombs for destroying small ground targets.
- TDC Vanity:
- TDC Vanity is Terripana's single military vessel. It does regular patrols of the island, in order to deter any modern day pirates from attacking the commercial vessels, and scouts out the horizon for any unwanted international visitors. TDC Vanity is an Anguila Class Destroyer.

Terripana accepts the request from both nations for embassies on Terripanan soil, and requests that they are to read our political guidelines in order to ensure that embassy staff follow our regulations at all times. These can be read in our political information brochure once it is published.

It is of course, entirely acceptable that your nation have policies enforced on your lands and we do understand the intricacies of your situation. Long ago, we were but a small village full of people with great ideas. Being small in number does not preclude greatness.
Our high priests and laws state that everyone should have a chance, so we are here to show how sincere our wish to establish positive foreign relations is with your nation.
One of the challenges you face, according to empirical analysis of the data we have collected, is having a small economic base due to a small population base. The burdens of governance and sovereignty do not become that much easier with a small population, in fact you face many of the barriers all of our governments face.
So we have identified 2 unique economic opportunities possible between our governments:
The first is a SATRI program: International Explorers Federation (IEF)
IEF is dedicated to space exploration, and understanding Kerbin, for all the people of Kerbin including Teripanans. We would hire 100 of your most dedicated and sharpest technical people, as per our requirements. They would come to work at the IEF space center we are constructing and their families are welcome to stay in the adjacent town. Their expenses, within the center and the town, would be covered by us within reason - and we would provide for all travel in and out of the Empire upto four round trips per year per family member. Their expenses and travel permissions as regards the rest of the Empire can be negotiated later. In addition to expenses, which includes a very good standard of living for these people and their immediate families, they will receive a salary in compliance with our labor laws.
This salary is where it becomes interesting, economically, to your government. We will cover expenses with a town script, but the salaries must be paid in Imperial Credit just as all Citizens use. This, naturally, would be taxable under your law - consistent with whatever tax the rest of your populace faces. We have examined this, and calculated that your government would receive 900,000 K (0.9 MK) per year as a result (0.45 Mk per cycle). We also understand that these people will need to be managed on your end with a special status, so we will provide an extra 100,000 K (0.1 MK) per year to cover that cost.
Your people will be doing a demanding, often obsessive and isolating set of professions. They will be very well treated and have very good standards of living, with full access to their family members living in the newly renamed Space City. They will not be able to travel freely at a whim, as they will need to be dedicated to long term space programs and may even be selected as crew. This program would start immediately.
Atomic Fuel for Peace and Prosperity
The second opportunity needs more discussion between us, and with your military protectors. We wish to establish 5 uranium mines in your territory and would then pay your government 500,000 K (0.5 MK) for every unit of Reactor Grade Uranium (RGU) that results from shipments of your ore to our processing infrastructure. We would have direct control all mining and shipping operations. Naturally, you will be able to monitor all production relative to your ore to ensure everything is proceeding to our agreement. We would also need guarantees that our staff, who will run the mines, will be safe and able to conduct their work properly in your country.
You also have our complete assurances that we will not sell RGU to anyone for purposes of bomb making. We do not intend to make bombs with it except in the possible case that a nuclear device is needed in space for mining or a dangerous situation - eliminating a dangerous near-Kerbin asteroid for example. Even then, if you or your protectors prefer than none of the RGU we source from these mines goes towards a nuclear device this is entirely acceptable - it changes nothing since we do not intend to participate in the nuclear arms race. We do, however, plan on making nuclear vessels for sea and space - plus power plants and research facilities. We intend to evoke an atomic golden age, and your people can be part of that.
This is another long term plan. Though other nations will offer you more on the spot for your ore when they have a shortage, they will also tend not to be long term customers. We guarantee that we will always make payment for all the RGU we process and we will process as much as is viable for our economy every year. We forsee a large demand for RGU in Imperial projects.

The Union of Segerline would like to take steps towards a lasting friendship between our two nations. We wonder if you would be interested in a trade agreement and an embassy? We would also want to plant the seeds for a more closer military cooperation in terms of setting up a wargame between our two nations in the future that would include the navy, airforce and army.

We graciously accept your trade and embassy proposals, however as for military cooperation, simulations must be as far as we may allow. Other such deals, for example an alliance, would not be in the interests of us or our protectorate, Kabundakan.
