Rikutan Elections

Across the nation of Rikuto today, elections for the Chancellor of the Republic took place. In a relatively unsurprising landslide, Rokuro Yuki, who led the coup against, the Shogun, was elected to the position. After being sworn in, he pledged to protect the sovereignty of Rikuto and the Towada Islands, as well as announcing his intent to hold a trial for the Shogun. When asked about the fate of the emperor, it was said that the emperor would not be stripped of his title, but his power would be reduced to that of a figurehead.
