A Dinner in Ienecia

To Whom it May Concern,

In the interests of facilitating peaceful cooperation and friendship, all world leaders and their representatives are hereby invited to an evening of food, wine, feasting and festivities in the Merchant Republic of Ienecia. Visitors will be treated to a multi-course meal made up of traditional Ienecian food, as well as various dishes from around the world, and will be able to partake in friendly conversation with other attendees throughout.

Security will be provided by the Merchant Republic for the event, though attendees are welcome to bring a bodyguard or two if they so prefer -- weapons, however, will not be permitted inside the dining hall. Attendees are also encouraged to bring samples of their own traditional food and desserts, which will be included in their proper course.

Should you wish to attend, please reply at your earliest convenience detailing who will be arriving and when. It is my hope that everyone will be able to enjoy the evening and help to usher in an era of peace in the world.

King Dragan III of Gabrili will be attending.

A representative of the Imperial House of Control shall be sent.

Kharle Fraster Kane shall attend.

Minja Subota, the Njegošljan General Governor, will attend with his escort.

The Oresean Empire will send Emperor Lisakki II.

To Whomever this May Concern,

The Sangan Confederation of Democatic Colonies and Fatherland would be delighted to send a diplomat to our southerly neighbors. He will arrive on the SCS Accent . We hope this will improve relations with you, our friends, and all that attend this esteemed dinner.

I, Sir Clifford Reboten, would like to attend the dinner as the president of a recent global sporting authority, known as the WAGPA. I represent both the WAGPA and the automotive industry of the world, and would wish to bring to attention support for the sport and urgent issues in the automotive world that require immediate action on part of the international political community.

We are afraid that the industry of the world is varied and is not its own nation, and that the automotive industry is not the only economic activity in the world.

You are making a mistake.

Sir Clifford Reboten will be the personal guest of the General Governor. I hope the Ienecian host won't see any problem in that.

There is no issue there, then. The initial invitation was simply just sent to world leaders themselves; should you wish to bring him along as a guest, you are welcomed to.
