Meeting in Terripana

A car exits the Kahlawian embassy on Terripana, and drives to the government palace. The occupants, after having been searched, are admitted in a conference room.

"Good morning. Can we start discussing the agreement terms now?"

The vice-president answers the Khalawian: "Greetings and a warm welcome to Terripana. Please, tell us what you propose. We are intrigued."

"We plan on expanding ASDI's ground based tracking network, to support deep space exploration. Terripanan position is ideal for this, so we wish to build a tracking station here. This will bring work to your people, and surely help your nation to obtain technological support from the member states."

"As long as these plans have no military intent, then you have our permission. Of course, there will be a slight fee. We will want to make some profits off of this deal. Name your ideal price."

"Access to the ASDI tech sharing program."

"Very well. It seems we have a deal."

"Good. It's clear the this agreement, having been signed between our two nations and having no military implications, is unaffected by the Kabundakan-Terripanan treaty."

"Yes. This does not mean, however, that if you attack, that they will stay out of the conflict."

"Why ruin a friendly meeting with such a paranoia filled assertion? We'll better leave now, before you insult us further. Good day."
