How are we gonna prevent nuclear apocalypses?

I am sure that I am not the only person who doesn't want the RP to end in the beginning of the interesting stuff. Everybody wants interplanetary wars and colonization. So how are we gonna prevent the next nuclear apocalypse?

I think by making a organization which restricts the use of nuclear weapons, or by making a strong alliance like GCK, nations would use nukes more rarely. I mean, seriously, just having nukes does not necessarily mean that you have to drop them at a random nation.

How about a revival of the GCK then? An alliance that covers the most nations and as such decreases the amount of enemies which could potentially start nuking. I think with a large alliance we could very well found the United Federation of Kerbal Planets and fight against the Kromulans and Kardassians with phaser cannons.

What are YOUR ideas on the preventing of nuclear apocalypses?

Well, Im in this RP, so I dont expect it to end in nuclear apocalypse. Its really that simple ^^
