Changes to the GM System Empty Changes to the GM System

So basically the mod team's been talking and Mystic's suggestion is going to happen and below you can find exactly what changes are being made. You have until 12:00 01/01/15 GMT to do everything you want to to fix your armies.
The gist of it is basically that everything is deployed all the time.

Also, there's no MP cap and the only limit to your army's size is how much you're willing to pay in maintenance for it.
For national foci, military will now have reduced maintenance for units and both economic and industrial will have increased maintenance for units (Instead of increased MP and decreased MP, respectively).

Again, all of these changes take effect at 12:00 01/01/15 GMT.

Because every unit now takes up 2000 of your population, this means that for focuses not affecting maintenance or tax income, each additionally used unit of MP costs 0.1MK in reduced taxes income.

Only problem is City Garrisons do nothing, as discovered in the chat.

EDIT: Does this mean we can re-spawn our army?

Feel free to take a refund on any you've built this RP, but aside from that they're pretty much useless now. They'll probably be removed once this new system is put in place.

So uh, no MP cap, that's great. However, you basically took away a bunch of income from us..so now we have less money to actually use on other things if we actually want a decent sized defensive force.

But we also gave you a bunch of income with trade, so it's balanced out. In fact, if you maintain a reasonable (100MP or so) army and don't go to war, you'll still be earning more than before we added trade.

That's nonsense! Having to choose from doing stuff or having a powerful military? What are we doing here, running a nation?
