Given how densely packed most of our nations are with each other, trying to set up history a couple of people at a time is likely to end up with a contradictory mess. To keep this simple I'm presenting this is a timeline-it's easy to edit, and means small details that really only matter to a couple of nations can be worked out elsewhere.

Here's a start;
RP start-~2,000 Unification of kingdoms of Grivska and Gabrili-become rival trading nations.
RP start -~400 Sevonje starts to form outposts in [BORIS' NATION].
RP start -200~Grivska starts establishing trade outposts and settlements in Cele [the eastern colony bit].
RP start -156 After normalisation of relations and a great increase in pan-nationalist sentiment, Grivska and Gabrili unite to form the Kutan Empire.
RP start -120 War starts with Aviliyu [Jaydee's nation] over the importation of harmful narcotics produced in Cele. Aviluyun naval forces are crushed, and Aviliyu is forced to sign over the harbour or Betata as part of the peace treaty.
RP start -81 [BORIS' NATION] is awarded self-governance by the empire; Emperor remains head of state, and Kutan retains control over [TBD] island as a naval base

What I have so far:
RP start-~2,000 Unification of kingdoms of Grivska and Gabrili-become rival trading nations.
RP start -~400 Sevonje starts to form outposts in [BORIS' NATION].
RP Start ~-300: A small uprising is instigated in the future MRN highland peasants who believe to be neglected by the crown.
RP Start ~-250: The capital city of the MRN migrates from [city 1] to [Modern Capital]
RP start -200~Grivska starts establishing trade outposts and settlements in Cele [the eastern colony bit].
RP Start ~-175: The MRN government is granted more power by the throne, as the king at the time is unable to conceive a legal child.
RP start -156 After normalisation of relations and a great increase in pan-nationalist sentiment, Grivska and Gabrili unite to form the Kutan Empire.
RP Start -123: The last Monarch of the MRN dies, and the government assumes control of the nation, forming the Mountain Republic.
RP Start -122: The first President of the MRN is issued into office. He leads the National Neutrality Party.
RP start -120 War starts with Aviliyu [Jaydee's nation] over the importation of harmful narcotics produced in Cele. Aviluyun naval forces are crushed, and Aviliyu is forced to sign over the harbour or Betata as part of the peace treaty.
RP Start -120: Shortly after the outbreak of War between the Kutian Empire and Aviliyu, the MRN declares complete neutrality in international politics.
RP Start -115: The MRN creates the International Congress of Nations, and constructs the meeting area. All nations were invited, [however only "names" joined | or | all nations accepted the inivitation | or | no nations were interested in joining the ICN].
RP start -81 [BORIS' NATION] is awarded self-governance by the empire; Emperor remains head of state, and Kutan retains control over [TBD] island as a naval base

RP Start - ~750: Kratorios Ienecaeos founded on conclusion of Veiidic War, city-states united for first time
RP Start - ~700: Kratorios Ienecaeos at its height, having conquered much of the eastern coast

I have it in my history that between -800 and -400 I performed raids on the nations to my Northwest, then moving onto piracy of people's trade vessels going to colonial areas, and then by -100 I'd slowly gone from piracy to actual trade.
Does anybody have any issues with that? (Apart from the ones of you that're landlocked, of course)

RP start - ~2000: The first reports of the Keshob culture.
RP start - ~1400: First major city in the region, Kekó, is founded.
RP start - ~600: More and more cities are founded. Some colonies are also established just ever so slightly north of Kekó.
RP start - ~500: Kekó Keshobo Kralica is created, as the first ever highly organized nation in the region. Also colonies just south of Kekó are founded.
RP start - 302: A revolt in one of the cities, Sztop, outbreaks. The burghers are tired of ruthless city taxation and insane mercantilist policies.
RP start - 302,5: The battle of Sztop occurs. The massive, completely outnumbering the enemy army of Kralica attack a very small revolter army. However due to extreme unluckiness and great leaders on the other side, the army completely looses and is almost entirely killed.
RP start - 303: The revolt exapnds further, and takes the nearby castle, proclaiming the complete controll of the province.
RP start - 304: A lot of other cities join the revolution and revolt too. They dont plan on cooperating after independent in future however.
RP start - 306: The Kralica, completely outnumbered, with its economy drowning deep, and loosing mroe and more battles and sieges, finally surrenders to the demands of the cities.
RP start - 306,5: The treaty is settled, and all the cities, together with a lot of nerby territory become independent.
RP start - 290: Due to unknown reasons, most possibly kortugan raids, the nation of Kekó Keshobo Kralica is forfeit and abandoned.
RP start - 289-280: The cities claim the forbidden lands, and build more cities around the old castles.
RP start - 270: Trade of Kolus is being dominated by the city states, most notably Sztop.
RP start - 261: A newly elected doge of a city called Holt proposes to joni into a league, to counter the growing trade competition of the ever bigger nearby nations.
RP start - 250: Finally, after a lot of setting up and arguing, the league of "Most Serene United Free and Independent Keshob Trade City-States" is founded. MSUFIKTCS. Its commonly called Keshob Cities, or Mesufiktucus, from its abbreviation.
RP start - 200: The Keshob Cities develops its current government, the so called "Ligonepanatradija"
RP start - 107: The League, due to reaching certain advancement reaches, starts colonizing nearby regions. The only one that survived was the region of Asztó.
RP start - 65: The nation of [JAYDEE] was negotiated with to get a trading harbor in their lands.
RP start - 32: The nation of [AMODII] was also negotiated with to get trading harbors, this time 3. They sweared to protect the cities, and in exchange they will get a percentage of profit from them.
RP start -31-0: Massive modernization of the cities and rural regions.

My history right now:

The last bit fits in whenever Warrior's nation starts colonising, the second last bit may or may not stay in depending on what the rules and regulations of the ICoN are. All the raidy-tradey stuff makes a few minor assumptions about other people's histories and affects pretty much everybody on the eastern coast of Kafrica (can we stop calling it that? It's a terrible name). So, if you have issues with that, you should probably tell me now.

RP start - 25: Keshob Cities western colonized regions begin to come closer together to unify infrastructure and trans-Algor desert trade.
RP start -20: Algor city-states form a unified trade union, making them a single entity in trade agreements. Said union is the ASTU, Algorian States Trade Union.
RP start -18: Eastern tensions with border areas with the Keshob Cities non-Algorian region causes riots around dragons, so called "Dragon Rebellion" fails.
RP start -17: Plague breaks out in capital city, quickly spreads through the ASTU.
RP start -16: ASTU sickness, quickly known as the Desert Fever, causes decline of international trade.
RP start -15: ASTU breaks apart, different city-states seek more independence due to differences in ideas in how to fight the sickness and the continued tensions from the "Dragon Rebellion".
RP start -14: Decline in trade and isolation of economies leads to drastic economic decline.
RP start -13: Easternmost city-state turns to Keshob Cities for help, is turned down and Keshob Cities break ties with the western regions.
RP start -11: As the Desert Fever finally dies out in the isolated region, city-states desire a drastic change to the bleak economic situation. Previous capital of ASTU sends delegates nation-wide to seek re-union. All but two regions agree, forming the Algorian States United Confederation, or ASUC.
RP start -10: War breaks out between ASUC and the two isolated city states, in the Algor Desert States War.
RP start -9: The city-states surrender, bringing the end of the Desert War.
RP start -8: New constitution drafted in hopes of pleasing new regions, repairing lost infrastructure, securing regional freedoms while keeping a central power strong enough to hold together the region during stressful times.
RP start -6: Final region approves the Constitution of Algorian Unification, Algor Desert States formed.
RP start -5: First government formed after transitional period of city-states governments preparation.
RP start -4: First Emirg elected (Emirg is ancient local language's word for Overseer, but equivalent to a president or prime minister). Emirg Geme I enters office, begins largest infrastructure project to ever be conducted in Algorian region.
RP start -1: Geme I wins his first re-election to a second three-year term.

Lo and behold, for here lies the History of Njegošlja.


BD? RP start-1600: The tribes of the Belenosian people are unified to counter the menace of the raids carried by the desert nomadic people.

B RP start-1250: After a centuries long fight, the desert nomads are finally tamed and absorbed by the Belenosians. To this date, little is known of the nomadic culture before the assimilation.

B RP start-1000: The Belenosian nation breaks up because of internal tensions between the old tribal families. A civil war erupts.

B RP start-850: The lowest point of the Belenosian civilization. 150 years of continuous war have taken their toll on the once flowering civilization. Plagues hit the population, and trade and communications are virtually stopped. Many believe that the end of the world is arrived.

B RP start-600: After a long recovery, driven by the cultural centres represented by the religious centres, the Belenosians start resembling a civilized people once again. The Belenosian city states start unifying in a number of countys and little confederations.

BHM RP start-[whenever hellorp and mobius feel fine with] The trade with the nations in the 'Ile du Meridiunne is started by some intraprendent merchants. First continuous contacts with the external world.

BHM RP start-[whenever hellorp and mobius feel fine with] {hellorp and mobius nations} begin to set trade posts in the Belenosian territories. While not exactly happy, the natives accept it.

BHM RP start-[whenever hellorp and mobius feel fine with] After some hints that trade is not all what {hellorp and mobius nations} want, the cities form the Alèansa Belenusian. The foreigners decide that colonization might be a little more difficult than expected, and decide to keep what concessions they already have. The islands of Lampiun and Luminnaia are from now on under their rule.

BK RP start-400: Sevonjan explorer Nikola Njegoš disembarks on the unhabited island of Gallinara, and claims it in the name of his King.

BK RP start-394: After 6 years of travels in the Belenosian lands, Njegoš receives from the King the order to have the natives pledge allegiance to him. using his knowledge of the Belenosian culture and the seemingly infinite amount of money at his disposal, he starts another civil war between the Belenosians. Then, with the intervention of the Sevonjan army, the area is pacified, put under the direct rule of the King, and renamed Njegošlja, as a recognition of the explorer feats.

B RP start-150: At this date, one sixth of the Njegošljan population is of Katunian ethnicity.

BKJ RP start-120: A contingent of Njegošljan volunteers sees action in Ailiyu. After the war, they receive the official colours from the Emperor, forming the Vojska Njegošlja, the first step towards self governance.

BK RP start-81: The Emperor gives Njegošlja self governance rights. The Katunian minority has now the right to decide for their own destiny, while the Belenosians are forcibly excluded from the politics.

B RP start-68: Belenosian rebels start a nationwide revolt against the Katunian elite: while at first succesful, the revolt is swiftly crushed by the highly trained Vojska Njegošlja, and the rebels are either executed or exiled. The northern desert becomes the home of the remaining rebels, the Partisanni du Belenosia.

B RP start-46: To bolster the numbers of the Vojska Njegošlja, the General Governor institutes the Legija Stranaca, accepting recruits from all over the world.

History of the Sanga Protectorate
2300 before start- Sanga people begin practicing agriculture.  Major kingdom rose but collapsed due to famine.

1300 before start- First cities in on the Wakir are established. First major naval trade begins.

1000 pre start- Unknown kingdom takes power in Sanga.  It created a large empire, occupying much of modern day Old Northern Highlands.  It collapsed violently after hundred or so years later and created a dark age.

740 pre start- First of (Charzy's nation's raiders attack)

700 pre start- First over sea colonies are established in the Agrian Peninsula. However, they are terrorized by Charzy's raiders and are abandoned.

680 pre start- With the discovery of Gunpowder, a renaissance begins in Sanga.  Ships filled with explorers set off and found colonies all across the Southern Deassic, Kafrica, and the Southern Wakir.  

650 pre start- Trade from across the planet is steered to Sanga by their navies.  The position between the two oceans reaps massive trade.  The Church of Kraken also reaches Sanga, and wipes out the pagan religions in less than 50 years

500 pre start- Clashes with the Charzy raiders escalate into full fledged naval battles.  At one, nearly 200 ships are sunk.

450 pre start- Under Kelom III, Sanga builds up a massive military and conquers much land in Kafrica and the Wakir straits.  Near the end of his reign, he leads an invasion against Charzy.

300 pre start- With tales of riches in the Veiid, the Polta Company sets out and colonized a path between the Deassic and the Veiid.  The colony pushes back military action by Charzy's nation.  For the fabled riches in the Veiid, they meet Delta's nation.

160 before start- new ideas trickle in from other nations about democracy.  A peaceful democracy is put in place after the death of the Queen

70 Pre start- Sangan philosopher Tenmerant lays out his paper on an adaptation of socialism.  It is based around all of society working together and an omnipresent government.  Much of the populous agrees to this and it quickly becomes ingrained in Sangan society.

You're too North to be in the area that I raided, it was the people to my West and Northwest. The height of our interaction should probably something along the lines of "There's some threatening guys past the northern mountains. They sound like assholes. I bet they're all assholes", and then occasional me pirating stuff that goes further south than that colony that's beside me.

Giant naval battles are probably unlikely to have happened, since most of my military was just a big wooden wall specifically to prevent people from attacking in retaliation for my piracy.
Unless you attempted a land invasion (my borders only ever reached the mountains at my northern border, they didn't extend into what's now your land), my ships would have just sailed away and pirated somebody else.

A navy can't run forever, especially one with relatively large ships. You can't have a shipyard in every fishing village.

But there comes a point where you have to start coming near my ports where the rest of my navy is. If there were to be a large naval battle, it'd be relatively near to my capital. You tend not to have naval battles on the orders of hundreds of ships to deal with pirates.

Also, that part where you started colonising the Agrian peninsula probably would have been met by an army rather than a navy, considering that area was very much part of my lands at that point.

I mostly don't border you except for my colony, so I guess the military action is a bit weird.  I added in the big naval battle because you were talking about escalating naval conflicts.  Regardless, most of this is irrelevant.  We can just say that you pirated and I disliked you for it. End of Last RP - The WPRP annexes all of Kerbin, and then Kortugans nuke the WPRP. A kortugan presses the history reset button, starting the RP that we have now.

Then you know the rest.

Nah. I like to think that the Kafrican continent united when the WPRP invaded, and they all nuked eachother to death.
