Dinner Alternate Timeline

Continuing to rush at the assassin, the Hersir crashes into him, knocking him to the ground. She draws her axe, kneels down and holds its blade to his throat.
"Move and I will decapitate you, scum."

Her two subordinates move around the sides and grab both of his arms, holding them firmly in place, immobilising everything but his legs.

"You cannot possibly support the oppression of innocent people, but if you do, you are no better than the same scum that consists the two who lay dying in there." With that, he spits into her face.

As she presses in the axehead slightly closer to his neck, a small bead of blood seeps from underneath the blade.

"Don't be a coward, its not befitting of a tyrant."

"If I'm such a coward, go ahead and prove how brave you are. All you have to do is lean your head up. Die like a man. Or are you too pathetic to even do that?"

"It wouldn't be enough force to do anything lethal, you'd need to cooperate with the kind of people you oppress, and we know you won't do that."

"Were this my country, believe me, you'd already be dead. You live as nothing more but a courtesy to the Ienecian government."

"Then I shall die as a hero to my people." He grins and bites down hard, a loud cracking coming from his mouth.

"Your reign is limited, and soon, the axe shall rest on your neck too! Run while you still can! The people have no intention to remain oppressed! The world will experience a new era of the people! Your time shall come! All of you! You would never die for your people, but here I am, surrendering myself for the oppressed!" With that, he bites through the exposed rubber coating of the cyanide pill embedded in a false tooth, now cracked open. He wrestles with the two holding him down, pulling one towards him, off his balance.

"Pff, coward. You two, hold him down until he dies.

GUARDS! Your assassin has taken poison and is dying. Deal with him as you see fit."

An oresean bodyguard tries to apply a tourniquet on the Kutanese emperor, however the effort is in vain. The other bodyguard drags the Venetorian leader to an ICU. Lisakki walks over to the assassin's body, which is now twitching and with a foaming mouth.

"Do you think we could search his corpse to find out who sent him?"

"Well thats an eventful dinner."

The Sangan delegate awakes from a deep stupor. Seeing the armed delegate, he curses loudly and rolls on the table, then falls off loudly onto his head.
