Argument thread about Retention Rule

Here, we can argue about whether to keep or to abolish the retention rule.


I am for ABOLISH because creativity cannot be forced to happen. For some creativity is creating lots of undetailed things, but for some it is fleshing out one thing. I for example belong to the second category.

The muse of creativity comes when it wants, and not when a nuclear apocalypse happens. Trust me, if you have ONE nation for multiple RP's you slip into the costume of it's ruler and start predicting what will happen if you do something.

Creativity is to be encouraged. The world does not repeat itself over and over again. Things change. Things are made, things disappear.

Creativity cannot be encouraged.

And creativity is never FORCING people to do something.

Certainly, the creation of new nations can be encouraged, but please do not ENFORCE it.
