History:
Camponja had long been the hub of monarchism and autocratic rule. The nobility were rich thanks to the ruthless persecution of those of other religions, and the unending exploitation of the peasants who worked their lands from their cribs to their graves. As they pushed for industrialisation, as a way to earn more money off of the back of the working man. As time progressed, this plan set through, and nore and more peasants were forced to work under even more appaling conditions. As the ideology of Communism spread throughout the world, a Camponjan intellectual created a different breed, "Equalism". Under his leadership, trade unions flourished and for the first time in centuries, the peasants finally had a taste of that precious power... Until the troops showed up and smacked them down. The Intellectual was killed in the process, but it only strengthened the resolve of the Equalists. In the following years they grew underground, until they finally rose up and destroyed the status quo. The United Soviets were created, under leadership of the Grand Intellectual, a title referring to creator of the Best and Only Ideology.

These days, the state has fallen back into corruption, decadence and autocracy, and the Grand Intellectual is a sociopathic dictator. Workers are once again exploited, but now for "their" gain.
